I was born 1954 in Washington, DC. I lived in Greece for 18 years, until 2002, when I moved to Clearwater, FL.

I have a BA in Studio Art from the University of Maryland, have done graduate studies in painting at Rochester Institute of Technology, and have an MA and an Advanced Diploma in Conservation of Cultural Properties from New York University.

I have exhibited in various group and one-man shows in the U.S., Cyprus and Greece.

I teach Drawing and Design at St.Petersburg College. For the past 25 years I have specialized in portraiture. In addition to portraits, I do other types of painting, draw cartoons and other illustrations for magazines and newspapers, and design web pages (including this one).
